Book Launch, Talk and Signing Event in Berlin
Date: August 28, 2014
Time: 19:00

Gestalten is proud to release Hello, I am Erik (and Hallo, ich bin Erik in German), the first comprehensive visual biography of typographer, designer, and entrepreneur Erik Spiekermann.

Gestalten invites you to a special evening with Erik Spiekermann and Johannes Erler, his long time friend, renowned graphic designer and editor of his visual biography to celebrate and explore his over 30-year career and body of work. They met over 20 years ago and “consequently, this is not only a book about a great designer, but also about the man whom I’ve gotten to know over the years”.

Together with Johannes, Erik will trace milestones in his lifework and offer personal perspectives with success stories and even blunders that he’s ready to speak about now.

Afterwards, fans will have the opportunity to get their copy personally signed by Erik Spiekermann and editor Johannes Erler.
